A fun shooting challenge in the heart of the Graythwaite estate
In the heart of Graythwaite Estate you’ll find our shooting site where we welcome novices and seasoned shots alike. We specialise in running relaxed sessions for novices, creating a fun and informative environment and are proud of our great track record of advancing novices with zero knowledge through to consistently breaking a variety of targets.
You’ll learn the key techniques of clay pigeon shooting including safety, gun mounting and how and when to pull the trigger. Typically everyone receives 1:1 tuition and practice shots before we introduce the competition and you can practice your newly learned skills, and quite possibly rely on some good luck! This package is based on 25 shots per person.
For more experienced shots wanting some fun competition, we offer a varied layout with a range of targets from springing incomers to fast crossers, high birds, rabbits and even a squirrel (all simulated of course!).
Complimentary tea and coffee is served in the lodge, and spectators can watch from the surrounding rustic seating and roaring fire pit.
