Go off-road with views of Windermere
With stunning views of Lake Windermere on the private Graythwaite Estate, ours is the Lake District’s only off-road course with BORDA (British Off-Road Driving Association) accreditation and instruction. Whether you’re a first time off-roader or seasoned pro, you’ll love the challenges of the course; lumps, bumps, water features, controlled acceleration and axel articulation.
Typically, each vehicle is booked by the hour for up to 4 people and it’s up to your party to decide how you divide your time behind the wheel. If you’d like longer, simply book a two or three hour experiences, or go in convoy with two vehicles for an hour. In our opinion, there’s only one 4x4 – the original and best – the Land Rover Defender. In Land Rover’s own words off-roading is all about going ‘as slow as possible and as fast as necessary’ and believe us, this is the most fun you’ll ever have at 5mph!
